SOURCING GUIDE
Research Peptide Sourcing in India
What to establish before sourcing a research peptide in India: how compound categories differ chemically, which documentation makes a batch usable, and which analytical questions are worth asking first. For prices and formats, see the catalog. Every item referenced here is supplied for in-vitro research and analytical applications only.
Peptide Tactics as a Research Peptide Supplier
Peptide Tactics is a research peptide supplier and distributor operating within India. We hold and distribute research materials; we do not synthesise them and we do not run an analytical laboratory, which is why you will not find a manufacturing claim or an in-house testing claim anywhere on this site.
What a researcher in India can do with us is concrete. Browse the catalog and see the price and format of every listing without making an enquiry first. Order any listed item for research use. Ask what documentation covers the batch you would be supplied, before committing. And where a compound is not listed at all, ask us to investigate sourcing it.
Currently listed are BPC-157, TB-500, MOTS-C, GHK-Cu, CJC-1295 with ipamorelin, retatrutide, listed as GLP-3 Shredatrutide and bacteriostatic water as a laboratory diluent. Reference pages also exist for CJC-1295 and ipamorelin individually, because the chemistry of each is worth setting out on its own.
Everything we distribute is for in-vitro research and analytical applications only, and not for human or veterinary use. We do not provide dosing, administration guidance or therapeutic advice, and we cannot answer enquiries seeking them.
How the catalog is structured
The catalog is organised into three kinds of listing, and knowing which kind you are looking at determines what documentation is worth requesting.
- Single peptides. One intended molecule per vial. A chromatographic purity figure and an intact-mass result describe the material reasonably completely, provided the method conditions are stated.
- Two-component vials. The CJC-1295 + ipamorelin entry contains two chemically distinct peptides. A single overall purity percentage cannot describe it, and the ratio between the components becomes a quality attribute in its own right.
- Laboratory diluents. Bacteriostatic water is not a peptide. It is characterised by its preservative content rather than by sequence or mass.
Each compound also has a reference page setting out the identity data recorded in public chemical databases, with the source named against each value. Formats and prices live in the catalog.
How the compounds differ
The listings are not variations on a theme. They span quite different chemistry, and the practical consequences for handling and analysis differ accordingly.
- BPC-157 — a 15-residue peptide with an unambiguous published sequence, formula and mass. Among the most straightforwardly characterised items in the catalog.
- MOTS-c — a 16-residue mitochondrial-derived peptide. Its two methionine residues make oxidation a specific analytical consideration.
- TB-500 — indexed in PubChem as the acetylated heptapeptide Ac-LKKTETQ-OH, about 889 g/mol, though the name is also applied elsewhere to the much larger thymosin beta-4 sequence. Which one a batch contains should come from its documentation.
- GHK-Cu — a metal-peptide complex rather than a peptide alone, which changes both handling and how reported masses should be read.
- CJC-1295 + ipamorelin — two distinct peptides in one vial, so per-component reporting is needed for the documentation to mean anything.
- Retatrutide — an investigational compound still in clinical development. Published records give the parent peptide at about 4731 g/mol, but which chemical form applies to supplied material is not something we have established.
- Bacteriostatic water — a preserved laboratory diluent rather than a peptide.
What to establish before sourcing
Availability is rarely the constraint when sourcing research peptides in India. Documentation usually is.
- Whether batch-specific documentation exists for the item, and what it contains.
- Whether any purity figure is accompanied by the method and detection wavelength that produced it.
- Whether identity is supported by a mass spectrometry result rather than by chromatography alone.
- Whether the compound name is unambiguous, or whether — as with TB-500 and CJC-1295 — it covers more than one molecule.
- What analytical capability you have access to if you intend to verify the material independently.
Our guides to reading certificates of analysis and interpreting purity figures cover each of these in detail.
Research Peptides in Bangalore
Bangalore orders take priority in our dispatch queue. When courier services are open, a Bangalore order is dispatched immediately. Researchers elsewhere in India are served by the same catalog and the same documentation process, with dispatch as soon as couriers are running.
Bengaluru's concentration of academic laboratories, biotech and contract research organisations is also the practical reason independent analytical capability is easier to access here than in much of the country — relevant if you intend to verify material yourself rather than rely on supplied paperwork.
Dispatch and Distribution in India
Peptide Tactics distributes research materials within India, and dispatch is the part of delivery we actually control, so it is the part we will commit to.
- Bangalore orders. Orders from Bangalore are dispatched immediately whenever courier operations are open. Bangalore orders take priority in the dispatch queue.
- Elsewhere in India. Orders from elsewhere in India are dispatched as soon as couriers are operating.
- Outside courier hours. Orders received outside courier operating hours are dispatched as soon as couriers reopen.
Dispatch timing depends on courier operations. We do not quote a delivery date, because transit time is not something we control.
Documentation and Analytical Reports
Documentation is the part of peptide sourcing where suppliers differ most, and where the language is least reliable. Three different things get called the same thing.
- A supplier certificate of analysis reports what the manufacturer measured on a batch. Its value depends entirely on whether it states the method and identifies the batch.
- An independent analytical report comes from a laboratory with no stake in the sale. This is stronger evidence, and correspondingly rarer.
- A product description formatted to look like either is neither. A purity figure with no method, no batch and no date attached is marketing.
We will tell you which of these covers the batch you would be supplied, before you order, including when the answer is none of them. Our guides to reading a certificate of analysis, what purity figures mean and HPLC analysis cover how to assess one, and our documentation page explains how to request it.
On buying research peptides in India
Searches for buying peptides in India are common, and the honest answer is a narrow one. Peptide Tactics provides information and distribution for qualified research use. Enquiries are completed over WhatsApp or email, and materials are supplied within India.
What that does not mean is equally important. None of these compounds is an approved medicine. None is offered for human or veterinary use. We publish no dosing information, no routes of administration and no preparation guidance for any purpose other than laboratory analysis, and we cannot answer enquiries seeking them.
By ordering, customers accept responsibility for ensuring that their intended use complies with applicable laws and regulations. The research-use policy sets out that position in full.
Local context
Two factors are specific to working in India. Sustained high ambient temperatures and seasonal humidity both bear on how material should be stored on arrival, and domestic supply shortens the transit window during which material sits outside controlled conditions.
Analytical capability is the other. HPLC and mass spectrometry are widely accessible through Indian academic institutions, national laboratories and commercial analytical providers, which makes independent verification a realistic option rather than a theoretical one.
Our article on peptide research in India covers the regulatory landscape and practical considerations in more depth.

Reference pages for CJC-1295 and ipamorelin individually are also published.
- Are these compounds approved medicines in India?
- No. None of the compounds listed is an approved medicine in India or elsewhere. They are supplied as research materials, and customers are responsible for ensuring that their intended use complies with applicable laws and regulations.
- What should I check before sourcing research peptides in India?
- Whether batch-specific documentation is available, whether that documentation states method conditions rather than a bare purity percentage, and whether the batch number on the certificate matches the vial. Independent analysis by HPLC and mass spectrometry is the strongest form of verification.
Can't Find the Compound You Need?
Our catalog lists what we currently hold, and it is not the full range of research materials we can look into. If you need a compound that is not listed, tell us what you are looking for and we will investigate sourcing options for it.
Useful things to include in your enquiry:
- The compound name, and any code or CAS number you have for it.
- Quantity per vial, and how many vials.
- Any specification that matters to your work — salt form, purity threshold, or the analytical method you need it reported against.
- Whether batch documentation or an independent analytical report is a requirement, so we can establish up front whether it is available.
We will tell you what we can source, what it would cost and what documentation exists. Where we cannot source something, or cannot establish its documentation, we will say so rather than take the order.
Sourcing enquiries are accepted for in-vitro research and analytical use only. We cannot supply material for human or veterinary use, and we do not advise on how any compound should be used.
